For warehouses and brands on Picqer
Let orders sit in concept for a few minutes. Then process them on their own.
Picqer can keep new orders in concept, but it won't process them later by itself. Holdback does that part: every minute it processes the concept orders that have waited long enough, so the picklist is only made once the order is final.
Set up in three steps
- Step 1In PicqerSet the webshop to keep new orders in concept instead of processing them right away.
- Step 2In HoldbackEnter your Picqer subdomain, then an API key per shop. Pick how many minutes orders should wait.
- Step 3DoneEvery minute, concept orders that have waited long enough get processed. You get an email if Picqer refuses.
From people using it
I used to handle the delay before Picqer processed orders manually. Having this automated takes one more task off my plate, and I really appreciate it. Thank you for building this!
This tool gave my customers time to accept post-purchase offers before Picqer started processing their orders. Exactly what I needed to make the whole flow work properly.
Finally, a way to get Picqer to wait a little before processing orders 😅 This really helped me out. Big thanks to the team!

Questions
Which orders does it process?
Every concept order of the shop, once it has been in concept for the delay you set. The clock starts when Holdback first sees the order, so the wait is never shorter than what you chose.
Does it change my orders?
No. It only asks Picqer to process the order, the same as clicking the button. Lines, prices and addresses are never touched.
What if Holdback goes down?
Orders stay in concept and nothing ships wrong. You can process them by hand in Picqer at any moment. If Picqer refuses the key or an order keeps failing, you get an email.
Can my clients choose their own delay?
On the Warehouse plan, each shop has its own link. Send it to your client: they can set the delay for their shop and see which orders were processed, and nothing else.
How is my API key stored?
Encrypted (AES-256) before it reaches the database, and never shown again. Each key is checked against Picqer before it's saved.
